I have always wanted to visit a State Fair, so Vyv indulged me. 13km of walking around in the baking hot sun, along with thousands of others. A great thing to experience, but I wouldn't want to bring a tribe of kids here (I am thinking of you here, Katie) as it would cost a fortune. So much fried food and so many rides (some of them very scary looking)...

The ride shown below was one that freaked us out the most. The people in the chairs being spun around and around were screaming. Probably in pleasure but if we were on there it would have been in terror. It was frightening just to watch it as it built up speed.

There were plenty of other weird sights...
